Written during one of those mundane journeys through my Motherland.Nothing special about it or is there something which defies logic and evokes philosophy ;)?!!
About 13 people adjusting in train coops meant for 8..some would shake their head at the sheer number mismatch.But we've seen the mismatches be it the "Train to Pakistan" carrying 1000s dead and alive alike.Perhaps making space for that one extra person and continuing the journey forms the core of our country.
The one thing which pushed me to jot this i-dont-have-work-that's-why-i-blog was an unknown "Solitary Reaper".The passing train shook her out of the stupor of her hard work,she came up with an innocent grin removed from her solitude.She continued to wave frantically at the train,forgetting the age and the reason.The surprise came in this part not just the kid but even the grownup zealously waved her back.In the end it was a bunch of people in the train and that Solitary Reaper happy for a reason without the reason[Philo Alert!!].
I guess the Mother overlooking us never let the childishness go out of her children.Seen a miniscule portion of my whole country but can vouch for the "Indian"-ness every Indian carries along with them.That ability to slow their life to see the world at leisure,laugh a bit without reason and to again pace themselves up[Philo Alert!!].
Keeping aside the various pessimistic indicators which goes against India we keep on smiling pushing forward.That too with open arms be it the Tibetans,the Bangladeshis who pour over to our country.We find means to feed them and make them a part of us.We mightnot be able to provide lavishness but we ensure that our guests have their basic needs met!![For numbers sake the exodus of Bangladeshis during 1971 war was close to 2 million people]
Three words for the country and the people within- Magnanimous,Magnificient,Mindblowing
